Replay – The Bourne Conspiracy Andrew Reiner Click here to watch embedded media In this episode of Replay, the Game Informer crew spends some quality time getting to know Jason Bourne and his quick-time events. Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy is a video game adaptation of the feature film that expands upon the story and is created by High Moon Studios. We're not sure exactly what content is new, but we do know that Bourne loves punching and kicking people, and when he gets the chance, he finishes them off with an ordinary object that is within his reach. We don't spend much time with this game before moving on to Creative Assembly's Viking: Battle for Asgard. We spend a few minutes being confused by this game, and then settle into a nice groove with the terrible Gears of War clone, Quantum Theory. That game has Replay written all over it. As always, enjoy our silly little episode, and we'll see you again in seven days. http://bit.ly/2PUxWO0

Free Trial Of Monster Hunter World Now On PS4 Imran Khan Capcom has had a pretty good week for Monster Hunter World news. Not only is it their best selling game ever, but they also detailed the upcoming Iceborne expansion. Excitement for Monster Hunter World is probably at the highest point since release, so it makes sense to scoop up those who might have some interest but have yet to take the plunge. Thus comes Monster Hunter World's free trial on PlayStation 4 for players to try out for the next ten days. The free trial lasts until May 20 and lets players take on up to three star quests, completely customize their own character, and go on expeditions in both the Ancient Forest an the Wildspire Wastes. You can also play online with people who have the free trial or the full game, as well as take that save file into the game should you decide to keep playing. Monster Hunter World's Iceborne expansion will be releasing on consoles on September 6. It will come in two variations: you can grab just the expansion if you already own the main game or get a bundle with both. Presumably save data from this demo will work with that version just as well. http://bit.ly/2vRsgLN

Starbreeze Unlikely To Last Another 12 Months Imran Khan Starbreeze's ups and downs have been veering toward the latter far more often than the former in the last year. After Overkill's The Walking Dead failed to impress, Skybound pulled out of the licensing deal from the game and stopped selling it, the CEO stepped down among these struggles, and Starbreeze sold back their publishing rights to System Shock 3 to the developer. Now it appears that Starbreeze might not be long for this world as cash flow isn't there to support it for much longer. The grim news comes from a quarterly shareholder report, where Starbreeze informed investors that they do not expect to last out more than 12 months at the current pace. It does get a little weird with the System Shock 3 sales, as OtherSide entertainment is expected return the $7 million approximate investment Starbreeze put into the game at some point, but it is not clear when. This isn't necessarily a death sentence for the company, though. They are still evaluating their options and Payday, the multiplayer heist series, still does fairly well for them. Restructuring around that game and its monetization might still be an option. "My main task is to secure financing for the company’s future operations," reads a statement from acting CEO Mikael Nermark, who stepped in after the former CEO resigned. "This involves both long-term financing we can use to build the Starbreeze of the future, but also making sure that the assets we have determined are unrelated to the core business are managed in a commercially viable way. Once this financing has been secured, we will be able to look ahead and present a more detailed strategy for the future." Starbreeze is still ostensibly publishing Double Fine's Psychonauts 2. http://bit.ly/2vU8nDz
