Android Q's automatic light and dark mode switch is properly working now
With Google putting all its weight behind dark mode in Android Q, beta testers were a little miffed when they discovered that there was no user-facing on/off toggle for the mode. It was hidden behind an adb command, and everyone rushed to either set it to on or off. However, there was an auto value too, but it wasn't working properly. For some, it never changed between modes, and for others, it only changed once then stopped working.
