    Sony Apologizes For PS5 Preorder Fiasco, Says More Are Coming Soon Gabe Gurwin Following September 16's PS5 preorder fiasco, which saw the console go on sale at several retailers without proper warning, Sony has offered an apology. It also promises that you haven't missed out on your chance to get the system this year if you couldn't snag a preorder earlier. Writing on its official Twitter account, PlayStation said its preorders could have gone "a lot smoother" and that it would be releasing more of the systems for preorder in the next few days via retailers.
