    Minecraft In Super Smash Bros. Planning Began Five Years Ago James O'Connor The new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC character has been revealed, and after years of rumors we're finally getting some Minecraft in Smash Bros. Steve, the hero of Minecraft, is joining the game, along with alternate Alex, Enderman, and Zombie skins, and the Internet is going wild. As it turns out, discussions about getting Steve into the game have been happening for a long time--at least five years, in fact. On Twitter, former Mojang employee Daniel Kaplan has been celebrating the announcement, and has revealed that discussions began long ago.
