Ultimate update 9.0 is out now, and as usual there's been a series of changes and adjustments to current fighters. The tweaks this time seem to benefit buffs over nerfs, meaning that many fighters will have an easier time doing damage now. The big change, of course, is the addition of Steve and the new Minecraft World stage, but even if you don't buy the Minecraft DLC some changes are introduced to the existing line-up. The big winners seem to be Ice Climbers, Lucario, Bowser Jr., and Simon/Richter, with faster attacks and extended launches coming in the wake of this patch. Pro players will likely want to revisit and update their tier rankings after this update. If you've got a main that you rarely budge from, perhaps some of these fighters will be worth another look after the update--the game is more fun if you can switch between multiple characters, after all.
