As usual, the seasonal changeover brings a new theme, new loot to get, and various Legendary item and balance changes. Blizzard detailed Season 22 on the Diablo 3 blog. The new theme is the Shades of the Nephalem, which means that activating a Shrine or Pylon will spawn a shadow clone of your chosen class. The shades will last for one minute (or until you die, of course) and will scale with your character's power level. That means you'll temporarily be roughly twice as powerful, to make short work of enemies. During Season 22, you'll also get a fourth slot in Kanai's Cube to further customize your character. You'll also be able to grab cosmetic rewards that you may have missed the first time. This time, rewards from Season 10 are coming back, like pieces of the Conqueror Set, the Black Soulstone themed portraits, and the Loremaster pennant.
