Actors that popped up throughout the show included King alums Tim Robbins (The Shawshank Redemption) and Bill Skarsgard (It). Characters, meanwhile, included the niece of The Shining's Jack Torrance and Annie Wilkes from Misery, among others. JJ Abrams executive produced the series through his Bad Robot production company.
