Lego Announces New Customizable Running Shoes With Adidas Eddie Makuch Lego is expanding into a new market: shoes. The toy company has announced a partnership with Adidas to create what it's calling "Ultraboost DNA x Lego Plates" running shoes. These shoes look pretty slick as they are, but the real hook is that they feature "Lego plates" that can be customized to your liking based on color. The Lego plates assume the role of the three Adidas stripes on each side of the show, so this is quite a natural-looking crossover. Since the plates can be customized, you can choose what colors you want. The running shoe also carries the Lego branding on the tongue, right below the Adidas logo.
