Netflix's Animated Pacific Rim: The Black Will Return For Season 2 Dan Auty The animated Netflix show Pacific Rim: The Black has been renewed for a Season 2. The series is a spin-off from the live-action Pacific Rim movies, and Season 1 was released last month. Pacific Rim: The Black Season 2 was confirmed on Twitter by the franchise's official account. The tweet shows the two main characters--teenage siblings Taylor and Hayley--in their Jaeger, as a huge kaiju lumbers towards them. Check it out below. The show is produced by Tokyo-based anime studio Polygon Pictures, who also made the three recent Godzilla anime series as well as Star Wars Resistance.
