Neon Genesis Evangelion Ultimate Edition is limited to 5,000 units and is available to pre-order through the GKids store for $279, a price available only for pre-orders. If you pick it up after December 7, it'll cost you an even-more-eye-watering $349. The set includes the original 26-episode anime series and two follow-up films, Evangelion: Death (True)² and The End of Evangelion. Notably, the Rebuild of Evangelion quadrilogy is not part of this edition. The Ultimate Edition includes not one but two sets of English dub and sub tracks--the "Classic' ones from the original release and the "Official" ones used in the Netflix release.
